What happened
The SARB’s composite leading indicator improved to 114.4 points in January from 113.3 points (revised) in December 2024.
On a year-to-year basis, the indicator continued to report growth for a tenth consecutive month in January, the highest growth rate since early 2022 (+3.4% y/y).
