The State of the Nation (SONA) address to Parliament contained little that was new and exciting. As usual it spelt out a series of measures to address structural impediments which are unlikely to be implemented.

The speech probably leaves GNU confidence intact, but the goal of achieving GDP growth of 3.0% in the short term is improbable.
